From 1 February 2026, restaurant representation for business purposes will be exempt from tax under certain conditions.
According to Government Decree 10/2026 (I. 30.), businesses do not have to pay VAT and Sochi tax on meetings, business lunches and partner dinners held in restaurants if the restaurant:

• Classified according to TEÁOR’25 56.11,
• has its own kitchenette and guest lounge,
• offers hot meals for on-site consumption.
