Our restaurant is located in the heart of Budapest, in the iconic building of the Operetta Theatre. The building was once home to the legendary Somossy Orfeum and the Moulin Rouge, and since 1923 it has been a key part of the capital's cultural life. A unique historical atmosphere completes the gastronomic experience. The atmosphere of the former café area, the Télikert, has been recreated in the upstairs dining room, named after our founder, during its renovation in 2015. Somossy Salon, and the Art Nouveau-style coffered glass wall in the gallery in front of the lodge. The elegance of the last century is brought to life by hand-crafted crystal chandeliers, lamps and carved decorative elements, evoking the opulent atmosphere of the old days.

By prior arrangement, we offer groups the opportunity to admire the magical interior of the Imre Kálmán Theatre, once home to the Somossy Orfeum and later the famous Moulin Rouge.

The Budapest Operetta Theatre and the Imre Kálmán Teatrum are beautiful buildings and representative spacious spaces, excellent venues for events. The Grand Theatre building is suitable for a conference or awards gala for up to 800 people, while events for 100-200 people can be hosted in the Kálmán Imre Teatrum or the Csillárterem, whether it's a partner meeting, workshop, company party or even a wedding.
